Something Changeddd..

I returned to work today after a very nice and much needed long vacation. Danny and i had a lot of fun in Daytona. We each got to do quite a bit of things that we wanted to.

On the first day we checked out the Daytona Speedway and got to see then practice and test the new cars for next year. We got a rare chance to see about a dozen of them go around the track quite a few times. It was pretty thrilling (and pretty loud too)! lol. We were happy we went and experienced it.

While at Daytona we also relaxed on the beach, soaked up the sunshine, enjoyed the waves, enjoyed the pool, enjoyed the free breakfast, enjoyed sleeping in, etc, etc.

One of the days Danny rented a boogieboard and got to ride some big waves using it. On another day we walked and got a chance to enjoy the surrounding area on our way to get some free beer and him his oysters. On another day we tried and LOVED some sushi at the bar, Ocean Deck, located right next door. One evening we also relaxed on the beach at night and enjoyed the stars and waves. On our last full day there we went and spent the day at a nearby waterpark. We had a blast riding the rides over and over and enjoying the lazy river and wave pool. We may have walked away with some bruises and battle wounds, but we still had a really good time.

Danny is about to play in a softball game in a few minutes and I about to head out the door to meet Kate, my realtor, and do my walk through for my house. I close in the am then the movers come in the early afternoon. Still hasn't quite hit me that all of the hard work, energy and emotions... are paying off and its all coming together. I waited all day for my confirmation so I could run to the bank and finally got it at 5:00, then ran to the bank to get my check. Tomorrow is going to be a very busy day, but man o man I am so excited! I get to see my pups tomorrow as well, so that is the cherry on top.
