Short and sweet because, it's FRIDAY

So I'm just going to get my 2 cents in real quick because I haven't had the time of day to even think straight for myself, much less throw jibba jabba down on paper about our lives.... think this is the part Sarah is talking about stopping and smelling the roses. In this case it's stop and reflect on the past week... or two... or three.. okay I'm not going to get into detail of how long it's been since I wrote so here it is!! pheww

As you all know, Sarah has been continuing to hit it hard with looking for her dream house. She keeps telling me how impatient she is and I can appreciate that more than ever right now. Her favorite quote she got from her boss (whom I think she was separate at birth from) is "If I want something, I want it yesterday." Boy o boy. Woman knows what she wants!
We went yesterday 4.22.10 to look at a house. After looking around the house, it was pretty nice with a good looking wood surrounding the inside. Sarah realtor said it was Naughty Pine wood all over the place (of course I proceeded by saying, "so this wood has been bad?" ---- I even shook my head at myself for saying that) ...... Moving on.. In a nutshell, the house had a front porch, back deck for grilling and sitting, nice backyard, one car garage, and a very proportional first and 2nd floors with even an unfinished 2.5 floor that can easily be finished.
Basically, I saw that look in her eyes of "I want it now... no I want it last week... no I want it last month.." ... of course I thought in my head, hunny, it just went up on the market 18 days ago, you can't want it last month.
I have a good feeling about this place for Sarah. Might be a winner, but we can't get ahead of ourselves with it.

Me? I had a baseball game this past Sunday and I pitched. We ended up losing but I performed really well in the game.

Team still lost! O well, I have faith in my team that they will pick it up soon and score me some runs. :)
Have 3 games coming up this weekend, 1 Saturday and 2 on Sunday. I will be pitching one of the games on Sunday so I hope my arm can be ready for that.

Job is going well, might have some opportunities for advancement coming up or changing departments maybe in the Chase Home Finance building. Fingers crossed! Been talking to my boss quite a bit about it so I am hoping he can help me out, not holding my breathe on it though.

Sarah and I are in the works of trying to find a vacation spot for the two of us. Any ideas?!?!?! We need deals! since Sarah is on a budget with buying a HOUSE, and well, I'm just a tight wad. Thinking Clearwater, FL? or just FL in general. HELP!! (I mean, FIRE!! if I scream Fire more people are supposed to respond, right Sarah? haha)

Anywho, Big weekend coming up of potentially NOTHING to do. Supposed to have 3 games but it will probably rain.
Sarah is going back to that house we just looked at with her parents to get the complete scoop from the rents to see if they approve. I think they will like what they see.

Well, gotta run! I have been at work waayyyy tooo long on a Friday. Cheers and good Friday-Saturday-Sunday!!!
