Its never too late to make a brand new start...

Well it looks like the rain may finally be done.. so fingers crossed for sunshine as the week presses on. A sunny day sure is hard to beat. :)

This weekend we took it easy. We needed to catch up on some rest and weren't feeling too hot either. Our weekends have been pretty busy, so an easy going weekend sure was a nice treat. We rented the movie UP on Friday, and really enjoyed it. I'd recommend it and I'm thinking it safe to say that Danny probably would too. On Saturday my parents came up to visit and see a house I had found and had gone and looked at during the week. They wanted to make sure this was worth a trip. I think they may have been as surprised as me, to find a house right after I had finally accepted that when the time was right, i'd find my house and in the meantime to just go with the flow and keep looking. In addition to that, the tax credit was finally coming to an end and would expire in just a week. Well, their trip was more than worth it. The looks on their faces were pretty priceless and at times, they didn't have much to say other than "wow" or "nice." They told me to "not let this house go" and for once, I listened. lol jk. The feeling I got when walking into this house and the impression it left on me once I had left, was one of a kind. I finally understood what it meant to know when you had found "the one!" It's a great feeling. I will hopefully have the closing and get my keys at the end of May! Just in time for summer. Woo hoo.

Danny and I have been busy as always, and just trying to enjoy any downtime that we can. We are getting close to booking our wonderful vaca and couldn't be more excited. I think we have decided on Clearwater! So excited. May will surely be a great month!

Welp, off to Aldis to get some much needed groceries and chicken so i can soak it overnight in italian dressing, yum! the best! Lastly, I wanna say congrats to our friends, Eric and Steph on their engagement! We are SO happy for the two of you!!! I can't wait to see you soon AND better yet, see that rock. =)
