This heat is craziness, it looks like I got AC JUST in the nick of time... whew. I LOVE being able to check things off of my "to do" list. It is honestly one of my favorite things to do-ha. Anywho, I am loving my AC and loving how I am able to set a schedule and it will automatically adjust the temperature depending on that schedule. Makes staying cool and non sweaty a bit easier. Woo hoo.
This past weekend was a busy one for sure. Danny headed to Dayton after work on Friday so he could be with his family and visit with his brother while he was in visiting from San Francisco. They got to hang out and go to a pig roast, canoeing and enjoy some fireworks too. It sounds like they all had fun. I am happy that he got to see his bro (and girlfriend too)! I mentioned to Danny that we should take a trip to the West coast and visit his brother and girlfriend sometime. I think it would be a lot of fun!
As for me, I got up early on Saturday (blah) and let the guys in (who had driven up from Cincy) so they could begin installing my AC. As they were wrapping up the AC, my friends from outta town began to arrive for our girl's night!
I had four girls come in from Cleveland (along with my friend's puppy, Moose) and my friend (who still lives in Columbus) all come over. We hung out, ordered pizza, made drinks and got ready. I think one of the best parts about going out with your girlfriends is just all getting ready together. That is definitely one thing I miss about not having roommates. Anyways, we took some cute pictures before calling a cab and heading downtown. We started the evening out at my favorite bar, Brother's! We all bought rounds of shots and cheers to us- lol! It was an eventful night for sure, but one worth remembering! After many drinks, lots of dancing and some bar hopping, we called it a night and were ready to kick off the heels and fill up the water cups.
On Sunday, I said goodbye to everyone and decided to pack up and head to Cincy to surprise my family. My parents weren't home when I arrived, but when they got home they said it took them a moment to figure out whose care it was in the driveway (lol) and they both were very pleasantly surprised. My parents through a 4th of July party and invited family and friends over to eat, drink and swim. We had a ton of food, swam all night, and got to see some fireworks as well. It was a blast!
On Monday, Danny came down early to visit with my family and I. I was happy he came down and I got to see him and spend some relaxing time with him!
Hugs & Kisses,
Danny, Sarah, Palmer & Addison
