Springtime is the time for new beginnings...

Spring to me is a lot like New Years. It is the perfect time to start fresh and embrace a new beginning. I think it is a mix of getting to go outside and do things that winter didn't allow us to do and being surrounded by baby animals and new life. I am definitely ready for some new beginnings and new adventures...

Monday night we enjoyed watching the Butler and Duke game as they competed for the NCAA March Madness winner title. I was sad to see Butler lose, but all in all, I feel they deserved it just as much as Duke did because they played one heck of a good game! That whole experience must of been so exciting for that little school. I think I take for granted that the school I attended was always known for its athletic department, although, i gotta admit, being a Buckeye fan is not always easy.

Last night, a friend and I went to a popular Mexican restaurant near my apartment to enjoy some good food, drinks and weather. It was nice to sit on the patio and relax while we caught up and threw back a few margaritas and beers. Danny, on the other hand, made good use of the sunshine by meeting up with his friend, Bill, after work and hitting some golf balls.

I decided today to put an offer on a house and am currently waiting to recieve my offer so I can review it. Surprisingly enough, it happens to be the first one I looked at after walking away from my first house. I am very excited and hopeful, so fingers crossed. Please say a little prayer for me.

I am also currently getting the details squared away for our little trip to Louisville on Friday. I am going down there for work on Friday and Saturday, however I am still very excited to just get away for a bit, even if just for a night and work related. We plan on dropping the pups off at my parents on the way and getting down there at a reasonable time so I can help set up. The hotel we are staying at looks very nice and i've been told it is near a nice night life scene. We hope to have time to enjoy the pool and hottub too. I haven't been swimming in what feels like forever.

We plan on meeting up with some of our friends while in town. My friend's boyfriend lives there actually, so they are going to show us around. We really appreciate them doing this and are looking forward to a fun night in Louisville.

The plan is to drive back to Columbus Saturday night and relax before Danny's opening day baseball game and volunteering on Sunday! I am very excited for Danny's game. It has been marked on my calendar with a star and a smiley for a while now. lol. We are also volunteering that evening at something referred to as The Unverferth House. We will help perpare meals and then serve it to temporary residences at The Ohio State University Medical Center patients and families. We both are looking forward to it!

Happy hump day everyone!!

Love always,

Danny, Sarah, Palmer & Addie =)
