See ya later August..

I can't believe that it's the last day of August and kids are already back in school. Where has the time seriously gone and can I have it back? lol..

This was always one of my favorite times of the year. I loved seeing people after a long summer, getting ready for Homecoming and Halloween and enjoying the leaves as they changed. Ooo..I get excited just thinking about it...

Our fun and crazy August is coming to an end. Danny and I were busy every weekend this past month, traveling for a good portion of it. Danny came back from vacation this month, we made a quick trip to Chicago for his long drive tournament and visited Katrina and Mike, we got to enjoy Danny's parent's open house, we celebrated my sister's 21st birthday, I survived a National Sales Meeting, and Danny attended a Bachelor party and I had friends in town for a girl's night. Yes, somehow we made it all happen and enjoyed every bit of it, however I am ready to say it's been real August, but you've got to go. Until next year that is...

I know at times we would find ourselves sharing how important and much needed some downtime was. We've definitely been getting better at not always feeling the need to rush home from work and continue to work. We try our best to balance it all and simply do what will be the easiest and non stressful for the both of us. I know for me, I have really enjoyed sitting in bed or on my deck reading. I love making time for the relaxing, enjoyable things -it's great and much needed!

Welp, it looks like September is going to be another fun and eventful month for us. Lots going on and lots to look forward to. :)

Another Ohio State football season is upon us as well and I need to find Palmer's jersey and get it ready. Let the tailgating begin! GO BUCKS!!!
