Monday is here and a new week has kicked off.
Not too much has been going on with us lately. I think we are sort of taking it easy because April is going to be a very busy month for the both of us.
Our April will consist of: traveling for work, a holiday, housing stuff, baseball (opening day), my friend visiting from Chi-town, and beginning to volunteer, etc. It should be a busy, but fun, April!!
Lets see, last week we enjoyed watching some of the March Madness games. We went out Friday to watch the Ohio State game, which unfortunately didn't have a happy ending. I guess Tennessee just wanted it more than we did? bummer. I have really enjoyed keeping up with the games and enjoying some good ole college bball. Danny & I had UK going all the way, but that came to an end Saturday night. I am excited to see what Butler may end up doing. I like seeing new teams go far, because that has got to be so exciting for everyone associated with that school. I am a huge Huggins fan, so I am excited to see what the Mountaineers may do as well!
Danny also surprised me with red and pink roses at the end of last week. I came home to gorgeous roses, a loving note and two happy pups. I took pictures of the flowers, so I will have to post them on here when I get the chance. It really was a great surprise! He's such a great boyfriend. :)
On Saturday, we met up with Danny's parents to look at some furniture for their new house and for some lunch at the Rusty Bucket. I was happy that the weather was nice and starting to warm up again, for all of us. They didn't end up finding what they were looking for, but hopefully the places they visit in the near future will have a better selection for them.
We decided to go back to Dayton that night so we could continue to visit with his parents. His Mom and Dad cooked a very nice dinner, we enjoyed some basketball and also learned a new card game. I love cards, so it was fun to learn a new game. The pups came with and had a ball running around and exploring a new, unfamiliar place. It was nice to just relax, visit and get to know them a little better. The last time I visited they had just moved into their new house, so it was nice to see it when they were a little more settled in.
Tonight is the premiere of a new Dancing with the Stars, and I can't wait! I LOVE Chad Ochocinco and just this cast overall is fun and entertaining too. Not sure who may be going home, but I was pleasantly surprised at how well some of them did, such as Jake.
Hope everyone has a great Monday! We are looking forward to a sunny week this week. Say a prayer that last weeks random snow was the last!
