Fresh air..

It's finally Thursday! Yippee.

This week has luckily been going by pretty fast and I just can't get enough of this weather. It's crazy how the change in weather can just affect your mood in a drastic way and suddenly there are people everywhere you turn. People wearing shorts, people zooming past on bikes, people with windows open and tops down. Does it get any better than this? Springtime was always one of the best parts of college. I can't wait to walk the dogs by Mirror Lake and see all of the new baby ducks. I wonder if this spring/summer we will have more baby ducks wandering into our office here at work. Have to wait and see..

Danny & I have both had a pretty busy week and can't seem to get caught up on sleep. On Tuesday he was able to get out and throw the ole baseball around with a buddie of his and worked on cranking out more resumes. He's been working hard and I can not wait to see all of it pay off. He deserves great things because he is one of the hardest workers I know. I recently told him to keep at the resumes because OSUs graduating spring class is usually the biggest and when the weather gets nice, no one wants to stay indoors. He's definitely been hard at it. Looking forward to him reaching some of his goals and dreams he has set for himself! I, on the other hand,on Tuesday made food and took a much needed nap. I felt like a bum, but really needed the rest. Guess sometimes you just have to give in and listen to your body. lol.

Danny also have been looking into volunteering opportunities. I am so excited about this and have actually emailed a few of the ladies that work with different volunteer groups. One has added me to their mailer, so I'm excited to be included in the loop with these opportunities. Danny and I know how fulfilling it can be to help others. I believe that reaching your goals and dreams is just half of feeling completely fulfilled. Just my opinion.

Wednesday, we both zoomed home from work, took care of the pups, grabbed snacks and met up with Kate. Somehow we were actually early lol. Go us. We looked at four great houses. I currently have lots of things running through my head right now regarding these awesome homes. One even had a jacuzzi AND big shower. It was love. We just love throwing out random visions of this future home. Thoughts of the dogs running around the yard, me working outside ( in a garden, perhaps) and setting up a grill and hammock, makes us happy to think about. :)

Tonight I am meeting up for dinner and happy hour with one of my good friends, Carlyn (aka PIC). We haven't really decided if we want to visit an old favorite or try something new. We love to go to places with patios when the weather is nice, so looks like we have numerous options. Excited to see her & catch up over some good food and a drink.

Not sure what Mr. Barker has planned for this evening, but hopefully he will get to leave work at a descent time and enjoy the weather.
