This weekend was another great one! Saturday was a busy day. Didn't get much sleep Friday, went to bed late and got up early, because I had to meet my realtor. After meeting with her got a good breakfast with Danny then headed back to do some much needed laundry, take care of the dogs and learn how to use Craigslist. While doing some of these things and letting the thought roll around in my head for a bit, I decided to move forward and put down an offer on a house!!! I met back up with my realtor and we went over the proposal together before she sent it over. It's hard to find just ONE word to sum up all the thoughts and feelings you have going on. After meeting with her I went back and bummed around and caught up on my rest.
They didn't accept my first offer so I had to talk to my parents and realtor and figure out a counter offer. I am currently waiting on their response (YIKES!) and am hoping that my willingness to be flexible with their schedule (they are currently building a house) will be very attractive to them and increase my chances of good news. Fingers crossed! I'll keep you posted on the updates and once I get a house, I will be sure to post a lot of pictures. My friends and family have been extremely supportive with all of this and it means SO much. They are amazing. :)
Danny and I are currently looking forward to the weather getting nice (and warmer) again this week. Due to the rain he ended up not having his first game yesterday. We both were pretty bummed about that, but are still excited for his future games on some sunny Sundays. Danny also got a call from someone he submitted a resume to and has an interview tomorrow. Please keep him in your thoughts as he prepares. I'm sure he will do great and they will eagerly want him as part of their team/company.
My boss brought in a Brian Regan DVD for me to borrow and I can not wait to relax, maybe drink some wine and watch some good ole comedy. I have shown Danny a few of his clips on YouTube, and I think he found him funny? I know people at my work really like him. I mean, he's no Jerry Seinfeld, but he's still a pretty comical guy. Danny and I plan to take it easy this week and save up our energy for maybe some St. Patrick's fun on Wednesday and definitely for Senior Crawl on Thursday. One of my best friends is graduating, so we all are making tshirts and going out to support her as she celebrates. Her celebration will continue throughout the weekend as we enjoy her 'going away' party on Friday and probably some bars on Saturday. Looking forward to it all and should be a lot of fun.
Hope everyone is getting through their Monday alright and able to get back into the swing of the work week.
